Never p_layer_ any of the guitar hero games and was wondering which of these to get (the local shop has both). Is it just the songs and guitar that are different, or is there anything more fundamental? Also, will the wireless guitar from GH3 work with GH2? Cheers.

Never p_layer_ any of the guitar hero games and was wondering which of these to get (the local shop has both). Is it just the songs and guitar that are different, or is there anything more fundamental? Also, will the wireless guitar from GH3 work with GH2? GH2 is definitely the better game with better songs, but GH3 has online play and the guitar is much better and wireless. It's a bit of a dilemma. And yes the guitars are interchangable. If you can afford to and find a reasonable price then get GH3 with guitar and standalone GH2. Or even both versions with guitars if you want to do 2-p_layer_ co-op.

The main difference apart from the songs (obviously), is that 3 has online multip_layer_ play offs. In one p_layer_ you also have to complete play offs against an A.I. guitarist such as Slash in a Battle Mode .

Now i just need to work out how to pursuade the misses that GH3 would also make a good buy
