Mascara for swimming? No offense, but is it possible you may be getting a little vain This comment was a little mean-spirited, but I agree in principle - why on earth is it necessary to wear mascara (or any makeup, for that matter, but particularly mascara) while swimming? Just skip the mascara while you're in the water, and put it on after you wash your face afterwards

Mascara for swimming? No offense, but is it possible you may be getting a little vain This comment was a little mean-spirited, but I agree in principle - I always use mascara (everyday) - I use waterproof in the summer or when going to the beach. I can sometimes get away with no other makeup (I usually use at least mascara and lipstick). I always put mascara on every morning before going out. I keep the lipstick in my purse (a few different shades) so I can put that on during the drive to work or wherever I am heading.

I can sometimes get away with no other makeup (I usually use at least mascara and lipstick). I always put mascara on every morning before going out. I keep the lipstick in my purse (a few different shades) so I can put that on during the drive to work or wherever I am heading. Same here. I have naturally blonde hair and fair lashes, so I curl and mascara them every day. Dying makes them darker, but it doesn't hold the curl and thicken the way mascara does. Linda C.
