You need to understand, when doing an abdominal exercise, is not what exercises to do, but how you do them. Many people simply go through the motions when doing sit-ups and other ab exercise, and increase the number of reps over time and notice little difference. In order to get your stomach to be truly flat, you must train your muscles to assume this shape. To achieve flat abs, you must tighten your stomach muscles while doing your ab workout. You need to be more careful and calculated in our approach to exercise so that we can live our expected, extended lives with better quality of life. As they say, "We ain't as young as we use to be." Unfortunately, there is a disconnect between the brain and our bodies, which often leads to injury. In our minds we are still young and we think we can still run and jump just like we did in our youth. |

Only music, without having to concentrate like you do watching television or reading a book - has the rare ability to make working out seem a little less like work. However, some music is better to take to the gym than others.
