The only difference is that with accounting we want there to be more income than outcome and with weight loss we need it to be the exact opposite. THere is a simple calculation that will work for most people when it comes to figuring out how many calories you need to be eating so that you can lose weight. Multiply your body weight by 10 and that is the number of calories that an average person needs on a daily basis for energy.

Lets say you are a female that weighs around 120 pounds right? Well I would say for most females at this weight you would need to consume far less than a 6'5 guy who weighs around three hundred pounds. A girl at 120 pounds would most likely only need about 1500 calories per day at most. so when asking yourself how many calories should i eat to lose weight consider all of the factors listed in this article. But there are also other factors that come into play such as genetics and other medical conditions. Heck even someone who smokes could lose more weight than a non smoker, so we are looking at alot of potential factors here.

Fast weight loss is possible and calorie shifting is the better way of achieving it. You can actually lose one pound a day with calorie shifting. The idea is to not let your internal computer know what happens next, so your body system will continue to burn fat everyday. The easy implementation of calorie shifting, makes this method is easy to stick to, which is one of the reasons why people lose weight and keep it off successfully. If you are very active and you weigh 200 pounds, then you should try to cut your calories down to about 1500 per day. This is 500 below what you need for energy and it will cause your body to use your already stored up energy, or fat, to compensate for the difference.
